Supported Operating Systems

We are currently using Folio Views v4.6. This will run on Windows 98 through Vista.

Folio doesn't need much in terms of system resources, besides the disk space for installation of data files.

500MHz CPU or faster
512MB Ram or more (probably 1GB to let the OS run smoother)

To install Folio Views, it takes about 32mb of disk space.

Folio Views isn't multi-threaded, so a faster single core works better than a slower 4-core system.

When installing on Vista, it will prompt you if you want to install it. (UAC verification) After that, the install and execution is identical to 9x/2K/XP.

We are using Indigo Rose's Setup Factory to do our installs.

I have tried it on Kubuntu 8.04 x86 via Wine and it loaded up and worked just fine. (Note: Some people report Folio doesn't work with Linux. The problem is in the installer that sets up Folio, not Folio itself or Linux. My installer does work with Linux.)

Currently, there isn't a native way to run Folio Views on Mac OS X.

I have also verified that the installer and Folio Views work on WIndows 7 64-bit.
